During the initial stages of tuition, he provides students with a wide range of resources, guidance and structured support to help them build a strong foundation and develop confidence. However, students are ultimately expected to become independent learners. Joogal provides the framework, guidance and scaffolding, while students are encouraged to engage actively with the material, attempt questions independently and apply what they have learned.
As a Senior Teacher with many years of experience and as the Head of IB Biology, Joogal has extensive experience in identifying students' learning needs, addressing gaps in understanding and developing strategies to help students achieve their individual IB targets.

Kin is a dedicated bilingual high school graduate who just finished IBDP in PLKCKY. Having achieved an IB bilingual diploma with a score of 43 (including 7 in AA HL), he is deeply passionate about mathematics and physics.
Being one of five students selected to represent Hong Kong in the International Young Physicists’ Tournament (IYPT), placing within the top 30 in the HKUST Physics Olympiad Training Program, earning university credit in Mathematics Level 2 through the HKUST Dual Program while still in Year 10 and earning numerous scholarships in science and mathematics in my school has allowed him to gain offers from top universities like Imperial College London(Physics), HKUST(DDP T&M), HKU, UCL etc.
Beyond academics, Kin has accumulated valuable teaching experience through various school clubs and mentorship programs, where he has worked closely with younger students. These experiences have helped him develop a patient, encouraging, and intellectually engaging teaching style. Kin is truly excited to share his enthusiasm for mathematics, and to help students not only improve academically but also discover the joy of learning this subject.
Kin's teaching blends intuition with results. First, he will create a 1-2 month plan targeting the student's weak topics. Lessons start by reviewing incorrect homework questions, then teaching the topic through guided practice. After covering all topics, a final revision lesson where the student redoes every question they previously got wrong locks in new knowledge. After each lesson, the student's progress will be recorded on a google document available so that all parties are updated on the student’s progress. This structure locks in deep understanding and transforms past mistakes into measurable grade gains.
